MACROSS VF-X : 1/100 VB-6 KOENIG MONSTER !!

Hi and welcome again to my humble blog.
It's been a while i haven't post any Macross figure nor plane. That's because got busy doing my project which is still work in progress.. This time i'm gonna show you one of the biggest mecha ( except the SDF-1 itself ) in Macross the first original tv series, but we didn't see it transform into a space shuttle, it only appear in the "VF-X" PlayStation game instead. This is the VB-6 Koenig Monster, a 1/100 scale by Yamato

The only missing in this post is the box for this model. Because i put this model on display for quite some time now, i'm too lazy to find out which of the ten 'toy chest' did i put the box to..
Anyway, enjoy the pic guys :)

Well, too bad Yamato didn't built this model to fit with any of it's Display Stand or otherwise it will look even more out~standing..

MACROSS ZERO: 1/72 VF-0B [WIP1] !!

Got the time to build this kit after a while, this is a 1/72 VF-0B model by Hasegawa from Macross Zero animated series. Although the kit are very details but it all comes in plain white ! Which means you have to color it yourself haha...

Front box cover illustration

Inside, all runner are in plain white.

And this is the finish model without color details

Its been raining for the past few weeks and the weather isn't helping too. Waiting for a hot sunny day to start my work for this kit seems to drag all days now. Only got limited time that i took the opportunity to spray color them.. And this is the only parts that i manage to finish to date, not much but patience is the only things in doing this kind of thing... right.

The cockpit and nose part of the plane

While waiting the sun to come out, instead doing this -the pilot. It's damm too small to put the decal on each of them, let alone to color them with different color. I almost screw up when i try to put a decal on it's helmet. Sorry for the blurr picture guys, that helmet things are too small and my hand keeps shaking while shooting it hehe...

See.. guess how small this is

And its decal..

Like i said previously it comes in plain white. Got to color them yourself just like this pilot, just make sure you've got all the necessary tools and enough supply of color. Then its fun time.. enjoy the pic guys, still WIP...

here are the pilots and the control panels at the back.

the ejection seat.. actually there are two seats altogather

the nose part of the plane

check out this very very tiny pilot's screen, i screw-up it's decal coz it's too damm small...

got to paint the inner cockpit just to make it look real..

this is where you put the seat.

First the back seat, its navigator..

Second seat, is the pilot itself

After some sticking pain in the butt ( sitting on the chair all day long), the result at the end are priceless.. Will update later, so stay tune with me.
